Homeopathy
by: Anonymous

We've moved on to homeopathy with outstanding results and we don't have to play the biomed game anymore. Look for a classical homeopath who uses constitutional remedies...I think you'll be pleased. Good luck!

Wake up call!
by: Katie

My daughter is 4 and had a stoke during birth which delayed her speech. She has been on Nourishlife Speak for almost a year now and we have seen amazing results. For those of you who say it is too high of doses for our kids to take, you need to do your research. It would be too high for a neurotypical child, but not a child with learning disabilities. Also, the gummy vitamins are great for neurotypical kids, but not our kids. People, the best thing to do is get a good DAN(Defeat Autism Now) doctor. It took me several years to find one. If you live near the Dallas/Ft. Worth area then Dr. Amber Brooks is the best I have found yet. Plus, she does not gouge the parents to death with costs. She deals with all children with learning disabilties, Check out her website at wholechildwellness.com and you wll not regret it. She is a miracle worker!

The biggest surges in speech for us came from ProEFA and DMG, B12 and folinic acid. I give my son a huge dose of Thorne B Complex everyday. The B's work well. There are many vitamins and supplements to try so it's good to have some tests done first and maybe see what's really going on with your child. His multi doesn't have iron or copper because he has problems with heavy metals. He also has yeast flare ups and a sensitivity to phenols and oxalates. Great Plains Laboratory runs all of these tests and Blue Cross Blue Shield covers it! Great therapy is the best though:)

SPEAK

Well, I've done some digging and actually SPEAK is not a good vitamin for our kids. There are cases of seizures, headaches, stomachaches and even speech regression. The amount of vitamin E is just way too high. Stick with Proefa. This stuff should be taken off of the market. I do respect the work of Dr. Morris and Marilyn Agin but they goofed on this one. Just wanted to get the word out in case you're using this product!!!

Vitamin E
by: Kate

You will have to discuss it with your child's doctor & decide if the risks of taking a high dose of vitamin E is worth it. Taking a high dose of vitamin E can be dangerous in small children, and isn't necessasary to take excessive amounts. An appropriate dose of vitamin E is 100 mg for children under two and 200 mg for children aged 2-12.

Use only natural vitamin E (d-alpha-tocopherol), not the synthetic form (dl-alpha-tocopherol). A mixed tocopherol form of vitamin E is best because children need the gamma as well as the alpha forms.

SPEAK vitamins
by: Anonymous

I started my 4 1/2 year old on SPEAK a/b a month and a half ago. She has speech apraxia and I'm trying everything that I can possibly try! I believe that this vitamin has truly helped her. She of course isn't where she should be w/ her speech YET but I do believe it has helped up her progress. Even her speech therapist said she could tell a big difference!!! :) She is up to four vitamins. a day and it doesn't make her hyper at all, she tolerates them very well. Hopefully this will help w/ your decision on wiether or not to stick w/ them. It's always good to get a 2nd and in my case 3rd of 4th opption:) Good luck and God bless.
