My Jesi Joe

My son Jesi Joe is my youngest child. He will be three in January. He was premature, born at 34 weeks, his lungs were undeveloped, and barely even weighted 5lbs. My heart ached to see what he went though.

Of course being my youngest and hopefully our last, I thought his delay in everything was his premauterty, or that we babied him. But as he got older it became harder and harder to communicate. He couldn't tell me what he wanted.

He is having speech therapy now and I try my best. I just feel like helpless sometimes we have a close bond, I breastfeed him two and half years. Baby steps we will get there some time.

Keep taking baby steps and don't give up - he will eventually talk!
