I have Apraxia
I was diagnosed with Motor Apraxia at age three, I am now 31. Through my early education I had extensive speech, physical, occupational, and emotional therapy in order to deal with the limitations and resulting stress caused by this condition. At often times it was very upsetting and frustrating to not be able to speak or play sports like other boys my age. However thanks to the work of those professionals and my loving parents who worked with them and me to give me every opportunity at success I now own my home, have a good paying job, have many friends and am engaged for next November. So have hope as your child's life will get better.
