4 year old diagnosed with Apraxia

I am a proud mother of a beautiful 4 year old very loving little girl named Alana. She was diagnosed with apraxia recently and as been attending her local schools EIP program for about 6 months now and I take an hour one on one with her myself singing songs reading books and playing games and trying to constantly talk talk talk to her which is draining I can't stand to hear my own voice anymore. Although she has made some progress with letter sounds her vocabulary is very limited to about 5 to 10 short words if that. Most of the time I feel like she will never talk and I wonder why she isn't picking up any words. I'm so frustrated and worried that I will never hear her little voice. We were out at a park one afternoon and a boy who looked to be about her age maybe a little younger wanted to play with her and asked her her name and he couldn't understand her then asked her how old she was and she didn't respond and then he asked her why don't you talk? my heart sank to my chest and it hurt me to see something that I once thought was simple as talking is so difficult and challenging for her and I feel so helpless. Needless to say I am very concerned and lost. I have the support of my family, but there is very little understanding of her condition and I spend a lot of my time researching online and this has been the most promising site I have come across so far. I also do not know of any other children with her condition or other parents to talk to who have been through this. I guess I'm trying to find reassurance that she will be ok.
